Wendy has more than 20 years of experience helping healthcare, education, and social impact organizations express their value, communicate their impact, build community, and raise money. A former newspaper reporter and long-time science writer, she has a deep understanding of public health, science, and medicine, and more than 10 years of experience working in healthcare organizations, including senior communications and fundraising roles at two major hospital systems, an Ivy League medical school, an academic medical center, and a major physician provider group.
Wendy helped build the brands for Brown University research and SWOG Cancer Research Network, a national, publicly-funded cancer clinical trial network based at Oregon Health & Science University. She has raised over $20 million for medical and scientific research from foundations, government sources, corporations, and individuals. She holds a master’s degree in journalism from New York University.
